    The Client
    A new and exciting position has arisen with our client that specialises in supplying training and staff development programmes. Operating within South Wales and the West Country, with expansion plans, they have a strong team of Assessors and sales training managers in place. Due to further expansion into the corporate sector, they now require an established and experienced new business professional to add to their team and to spearhead the growth of corporate training solutions.

    Responsibilities

    · To understand and establish yourself with the product lines and services available to your relevant client base
    · Target new business within your region by establishing prospect clients which have the potential need for in-house training requirements
    · Gaining appointments via lead generation, attending these appointments and presenting services offered at director level
    · Calling on the ‘trainers and assessors’ expertise and utilising this experience by arranging for them to attend client meetings
    · Working to targets on a revenue basis to achieve a percentage of revenue signed, aiming for contracts in the region of £100,000 annually and upwards
    · Working to annual revenue targets of circa 500k
    · Liasing with internal staff and the training team to remain up to date and knowledgeable of the latest training courses available
    · Report to the sales directors and project manager and ensure consistency of performance is presented and proven

    Experience / Attributes

    · Field sales experience on a business to business basis
    · Strong new business skills
    · The ability to negotiate at director level
    · A training and or assessing background will prove beneficial
    · Similarly, candidates with strong contacts within the South Wales contact centre market would benefit
    · A good marketing and organisational background, diary management and journey planning
    · Enthusiastic and innovative in approach
    · Experience of hitting exceeding set targets
    · Self-motivated, Tenacious and resilient
    · Ambitious and competitive


    Rewards

    · This role offers a generous basic salary of 25-32k basic, plus an uncapped commission structure paid as a percentage of signed revenue
    · Company car allowance of £400 per month, laptop, mobile etc
    · Monday-Friday, business working hours
