Our manufacturing client, based near Pontypridd is undertaking a review of current systems and procedures, not only within Accounts but throughout the business. They are actively searching for a “hands-on & experienced” Project Accountant to report directly to the Financial Controller for a period of 6 months.
You will work closely with Senior Management in all areas of the business, and you must be able to communicate effectively both to aid decision making alongside the Directors but also external parties. Although, this role sits outside of the main accounting team it is imperative that you have strong technical accounting and controls experience so that if required you can assist the accounts department.
You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and you will enjoy a role which offers variety and will be comfortable and thrive in a challenging, and results based environment. Excellent systems skills are required and advanced knowledge of Excel would be desirable.
